Dr. Matthew Sisak grew up in Blairsville, PA and attended Blairsville High School.  His pre-chiropractic courses were at Indiana University of PA where he received his Bachelor of Science degree.  While at Palmer College of Chiropractic he served as a teaching assistant and belonged to the Pennsylvania Club and Student Alumni Foundation.  Dr. Sisak also volunteered as an outdoor emergency care technician for the National Ski Patrol.  He graduated in February 2004 with honors.
After graduation, Dr. Sisak worked with a fellow Palmer graduate in Nanty Glo, PA, until purchasing the home in which Sisak Chiropractic is located today.  Originally built as a school house in the 1850’s, this private residence was in need of a remodel.  Dr. Sisak, with a lot of help from friends and family worked for nearly six months repairing and rebuilding this old house.  He was able to restore the original wood floors which still have ink stains from the schoolhouse days.  He opened the doors of Sisak Chiropractic Clinic for the first time on December 6, 2004.
Since then, Dr. Sisak has attended many seminars to further his education.  He has completed several courses on correct insurance billing, Medicare, worker’s compensation, and auto accident cases.  He believes it is important to be a life long student and to continue to learn in order to better serve his patients.

On a personal note, Dr. Sisak enjoys spending time outdoors with his two miniature Daschunds, Frank and Oliver.  Dr. Sisak likes to use the skills he acquired from his first remodeling experience, and is interested in building his own home in the future.
